Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of Miami, Florida on Kendall drive. Our location is right off of the Florida Turnpike, making it easily accessible, easy to find and with lots of parking.

 

Do you have more than one location, or are you only in Miami?

We are currently only located in Miami.


Do I need to have an appointment to try on wedding dresses?
Yes, we request pre-booked appointments for all guests so we can ensure one of our bridal stylists is available to assist you. An appointment will also guarantee you a private fitting room and seating for your guests. To make an appointment, please visit our Appointment page or call us at (305) 273-5794.


How long will my appointment last?
Each bridal appointment is roughly 90 minutes long. This allows you enough time to browse through our wedding dresses with your stylist, try on five to seven gowns, narrow down your selection and make an educated decision on which dress is “the one.” We never want you to feel rushed, which is why we’ve allocated a full hour and a half for your appointment.


What is the price range of the dresses at your store?
Our wedding dresses range from just under $1,500 to approximately $6,000. Your stylist will work closely with you to ensure you are comfortable with the price range of gowns selected. We’ll never try to sell you a dress that is not in your budget!


What forms of payment are accepted?

We take all forms of credit card ( visa, Mastercard, discover, American Express), debit card payments, Apple Pay and cash. We do not take personal or business checks.


Do I have to pay in full when I choose my wedding dress?

No, however a deposit is required and full payment is needed before we give you the dress.

Who should I bring with me to my appointment?
We know that shopping for a wedding gown is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and finding “the one” should be a special, memorable moment, shared with your closest family and friends. Most of our brides have success bringing anywhere from one to six guests to accompany them on their search, but we would love for you to bring whoever’s opinions you value and trust the most—we don’t limit you on your number of guests! We ultimately want you to feel confident and gorgeous when you stand in front of the mirror in one of our gowns, because we think every woman should experience the pure joy of finding her dream dress with the people she loves by her side to forever share in her special moment.


What designers do you carry?
We are proud be a Diamond retailer for Maggie Sottero and Sottero & Midgley. We also carry Allure Couture, Allure bridals, Enzoani, & Elysee Bridals. Our curated collection of wedding gowns from these designers are chosen specifically for the Miami Bride.


Should I wear specific undergarments?
We recommend bringing a strapless bra, which will allow you to better view the intended neckline of a gown. We will have robes available for you in the fitting rooms, so you can feel covered and comfortable between try-ons!


Can I buy a wedding dress off the rack?
In most cases, no. We have sample gowns in a variety of sizes, but typically we order a special gown based on your specific measurements. We do have a limited selection of dresses that can be purchased "as is". We also have gowns that are marked “quick turnaround” for super short engagements!


What size wedding dress samples to you have in store?
We have more than 750 samples in sizes 4-34 ready for you to try on!


How long do wedding dresses take to come in after they are ordered?
It takes approximately four to ten months for a dress to arrive, so please take that into consideration when scheduling your appointment. Once the dress arrives, you want to allow one to two months for alterations. We recommend beginning the dress shopping process 9-12 months prior to your wedding date so you can avoid rush fees and enjoy the experience! If you are unsure if you will be able to order a gown through our store due to a shorter engagement, we invite you to give us a call, so we can talk through some of our various rush-shipping options.


Are alterations included in the cost of the dress?
Alterations are an additional charge. Nearly all wedding dresses require a hem, a bustle and additional tailoring through the bust or torso to achieve the perfect fit. Some brides even use alterations to customize sleeves, straps, necklines and other details. Alteration prices will differ from gown to gown.


I’m not from Miami. Can I still make an appointment at Brides of Florida?
Of course! We serve brides from all over Florida, as well as nationwide. We’ve even had brides from South America! Once you choose your wedding gown, we can ship your dress to any destination in the United States. You are also welcome to come back and see us for pick up and alterations.
